- In a backstage segment, The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter & Alexa Windsor) declared that they were in a fighting mood and ready to get violent. Jamie Hayter mentioned that she saw Thekla using brass knuckles on AEW Dynamite and said, “If the Toxic Spider has some aggression to release, then step forward.” Mina Shirakawa then barged in and stated that she wasn’t done with Thekla. She warned that she would fight anyone who got in her way just to get another shot at her. The Brawling Birds and Mina issued a trios open challenge, saying they didn’t give a flying f-ck who answered the call.
- After the women’s trios tag team match ended, Thekla arrived in the crowd alongside the Sisters of Sin (Skye Blue & Julia Hart). Thekla arrogantly declared that the Toxic Spider is the world champion and that the b-tches in the ring were nothing. She warned that they couldn’t handle the Triangle of Madness. If they tried, Thekla swore on the cold, dead body of Toni Storm that they would end up just like her. An angry Mina Shirakawa immediately challenged them to a trios match next week, promising she would beat the piss out of Thekla.
- Later in the show, a heartfelt backstage segment hinted at the possible separation of Babes of Wrath. Harley Cameron expressed that she felt she had let Willow Nightingale down. Willow, staying positive, tried to look on the bright side of their partnership and their title wins. Harley encouraged Willow to focus on her own path and becoming the TBS Champion, while Harley will go wherever the wind takes her. No matter what, they would always be the Babes of Wrath. The segment ended with the two sharing a tight, emotional hug.
