Dani Luna Departs TNA Following Sacrifice Loss – Release Request Granted

Dani Luna, the technically gifted young pro wrestler, has left TNA after a two-year run with the promotion. Her final match came at the TNA Sacrifice pay-per-view, where she was pinned by reigning Knockouts World Champion Arianna Grace in a triple threat match also involving Lei Ying Lee.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Luna personally requested her release from the company, and it was granted immediately. She is now a free agent.

TNA appears to be prioritizing cinematic storytelling and character-driven angles in its Knockouts division lately. The ongoing Rosemary storyline centered on resurrecting Allie is currently generating significant buzz. In contrast, Luna has been positioned more as an in-ring specialist focused on athletic competition.

It will be interesting to see where Dani Luna heads next. Will she sign with WWE or AEW, or perhaps spend time honing her craft on the independent circuit? Only time will tell.
