WWE Superstars Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez in a backstage scene on the April 6, 2026 episode of RAW in Houston, Texas

Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez Almost Cleared for WrestleMania 42 Following Concussion Scare

Two of WWE’s top female talents, Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, are reportedly close to receiving medical clearance for WrestleMania 42 after a concerning concussion scare.

The issue stemmed from a brutal backstage attack by Stephanie Vaquer during the April 6, 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW. In the segment, Vaquer shoved Liv Morgan into Roxanne Perez, causing the two to collide heads hard before Morgan was thrown into a television screen.

According to a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, there is a strong sense of optimism within WWE management that both Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez will be cleared in time for WrestleMania 42. This comes as a big sigh of relief after several days of uncertainty.

The report also notes that WWE officials viewed the collision as an unfortunate accident rather than any reckless action, meaning there is no backstage heat on Stephanie Vaquer.

Earlier, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer had reported that both stars were placed in concussion protocol. He mentioned that Liv Morgan’s scheduled WrestleMania 42 match against Stephanie Vaquer could have been in jeopardy if the event were taking place immediately.

It looks like all’s well that ends well. This would have been especially unfortunate for Stephanie Vaquer, as WrestleMania 42 marks her first-ever WrestleMania match. The bout also holds major significance for Liv Morgan, as it is her first big singles match since returning earlier this year from a shoulder injury.
