- A parking lot brawl broke out between the Death Riders and The United Empire at the start of the show. During the chaos, Marina Shafir and Alex Windsor also collided. Alex took the fight with Marina into the ring while they continued brawling. The brawl ended with Will Ospreay challenging the Death Riders to an 8-person tag team match in the main event later that night. Unfortunately, it will not be a mixed tag match involving Alex and Marina.
- During the TBS Championship match between Willow Nightingale and Queen Aminata, Hikaru Shida sat in the wings, keeping a close eye on the action. It seems her defeat to Willow on last week’s AEW Collision clearly didn’t sit well with her, and their rivalry is far from over.
- Lexy Nair interviewed Thekla backstage. Thekla made it clear she doesn’t want to hear about Jamie Hayter being champion ever again. She then flirted with Lexy, saying: “I swear to God, Lexy, I’ll take you out for a nice seafood dinner, the finest wining and dining, and then I’ll bring you to the strip club, I’ll drag you up on the stage, and I’ll break every single one of your fingers.” Thekla went on to say that Hayter needs to understand the game has changed. She stated that Hayter was only champion because she (Thekla) wasn’t there, and as long as she is the AEW Women’s World Champion, Hayter will never hold the title again. Thekla added that she took Hayter out first because she was the easiest target, and that Hayter is only coming back because she is “the dumbest bi-ch alive.” She then declared that at Dynasty, Hayter will be “the dumbest bi-ch dead.”
